SRE Readiness ("we", "our", or "us") operates the platform at sre-readiness.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service. By using SRE Readiness, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google profile name and email. We do not collect passwords directly — authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication, a Google service.
Usage and progress data
We store your scenario completion history, confidence scores per skill track, practice streak, and assessment responses. This data powers your personal dashboard and is used solely to provide the service.
Technical data
We may collect standard technical data such as browser type, device type, and general location for security and performance purposes. We do not use this data for advertising.
We offer sign-in via Google OAuth. When you choose this option, Google shares your name and email address with us. We use this information only to create and identify your account. We do not request access to your Google Drive, Gmail, contacts, or any other Google services. The OAuth flow is handled by Firebase Authentication.
Your data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore and encrypted at rest. Access is enforced by server-side security rules that restrict every record to the account that owns it. Our infrastructure is hosted in the Google Cloud asia-east1 region (Taiwan). We do not store card details — payments are processed by Stripe, and we retain only your subscription status and Stripe customer reference.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances: to comply with legal obligations, to protect the rights and safety of our users, or with service providers who help us operate the platform (Google Firebase for authentication, database and hosting, and Stripe for payment processing) under strict confidentiality terms.

We use cookies solely for authentication session management. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this will prevent you from staying signed in.
SRE Readiness is intended for professional use and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
